Stavanger

stavanger-reflection

Today Maiju, Davide and Christopher took us along on a day trip to Stavanger, two-ish hours south of Leirvik. We passed over many bridges, through many tunnels and hopped aboard a ferry along the west coast E39 highway. Diana and I shared the Norwegian candy of the viking gods: baconostepølse. It’s a foot long hotdog filled with melted cheese, wrapped in bacon and topped with crispy fried onions.

In Stavanger we visited the Norwegian Petroleum Museum and ate an expensive lunch at Kafé Sting. This photo is a reflection of us from an ornament in the window of a local shop.
