Bikes are coming back into my life and it’s refreshing. I’ve committed more to traveling almost primarily by bicycle when possible. This is a closer look at my trusty steed. This IRO Jamie Roy is a 53cm 7005 aluminum frame. It’s got road bike geometry set on a custom built H Plus Son Formation Face laced to a Paul Components fixed hub. The spoke cards are from various LA Midnight Ridazz rides along with a collection of Fujifilm Instax photos taken at Burning Man and Coachella. They’re spun with a set of feetbelted MKS GR-9s via a Miche Advanced 46t Track Crankset on a DuraAce bottom bracket and 15t cog. The front wheel is a Neuvation M28 mounted to a Leader S805 Carbon Fork braked with a Cane Creek SCR-3. Bars are the chopped and flopped original drops with a Bontrager brake handle and white vinyl bar tape. The saddle is a white Cardiff Gull Cambria.
