Although it’s almost the first day of winter, today was warm and pleasant. I originally planned on making a night photo for today from Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and maybe even experiment with some levitation portraits, but felt rather drained by the end of the day and chose to stay home and stick with my afternoon shots.
Here is a Snowy Plover, or as I have mistakenly called it, a Snowy Clover. The afternoon started to gray as the day grew late and most of the sunset was obscured by distant clouds. The sunset was a thin band of fire on the horizon, lingering as a dim pink hue in the clouds as dusk settled in.
Perhaps tomorrow will bring some night photography to the mix.
